Where is my site hosted, and what does hosting cost?
Your site is a fast, simple static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which is free for sites like these and includes SSL (the padlock). The only regular cost is your domain name, usually about $10–$20 a year for a .com, paid at cost. The care plan is optional.
Who owns the website and the domain?
You do. Your domain is always registered in your name, and once the site is paid for you own your content and get the site files. If you ever leave the care plan, you keep everything.
What if I need changes later?
Each package includes revision rounds before launch. After launch, the care plan covers small text and photo updates each month (30 minutes on Basic, 1 hour on Plus). Without a care plan, just email me and I'll quote a small flat fee first.
How long does it take?
Most sites go live in about a week. Starter sites usually take 3–5 business days, Business 1–2 weeks and Pro 2–3 weeks, counted from when I have your info and photos. These are targets, not guarantees, and they depend on getting your content.
How do I pay?
You see a free demo first. If you want to go ahead, it's 50% to start and 50% at launch, paid by a secure online invoice. For Starter sites you can pay 100% at launch. Care plans are billed monthly, starting the month after launch.
Do I need to be in Kansas City?
No. Everything is done remotely by email, phone or text, so I can build a site for a small business anywhere in the US.
Will a website get me to the top of Google?
No one can honestly promise rankings, and I won't. What a good site does is make it easy for people who already search for you to find your services, hours and contact info, and I set up the basics Google looks for.
